This song means a whole hell of a lot to us. Not only because we’re so proud of the music, but because we’re proud of the storytelling and the meaning behind it.

We wrote this song a year ago, when it felt like the world couldn’t get any more painful or dark. Today, we feel like its message is more powerful than ever, especially with the senseless tragedies we’ve felt within the last couple of weeks. We’ve watched our whole worlds change.

We’ve watched our neighbors turn their backs on each other, hate each other, and fall slowly and slowly into what feels like madness. We’re left wondering where the people we used to know are. This song is an anthem for the shell of a society we used to know.
