HeyDreamer Presents: The First-Ever Newnan Porchfest

When we first tossed around the idea of a porch music festival in Newnan, it sounded a little wild. Could we really pull it off? Would anyone come? Could neighbors, artists, and small businesses rally around something this grassroots?

Turns out, the answer is yes.

On May 31st, we’re thrilled to bring you the very first Newnan Porchfest—an all-day celebration of live music, community, and creativity, hosted right in the front yards and gardens of the historic town. We’ve got 48 bands lined up to play on porches, patios, and patches of lawn throughout the downtown district. It’s going to be unlike anything Newnan has seen before.

We wanted to create something that felt both big and small at the same time—like a neighborhood block party with the spirit of a music festival. We’re not just playing—we’re organizing the whole thing. Every artist booked, every food truck placed, every map drawn…we’ve been behind the scenes making it all happen, because we believe this town deserves something special.

Porchfest is free to attend, all-ages, and designed to be walkable. Bring your kids, bring a lawn chair, bring your dog. Explore the porches. Discover new music. Talk to your neighbors. Tip the bands. Shop from local vendors. Grab a bite to eat. Just be part of it.

And at the end of the day, when the sun’s gone down and the last notes are echoing through the trees, we hope you’ll say what we’ve been feeling this whole time: Newnan needed this.

See you on the porch.
