HeyDreamer’s new single, “You’ve Lost Your Power,” is out today on all streaming platforms.

This song is the opening track from our upcoming album, Celebrated Destruction of Paradise, and it’s where the story begins.

We’ve been calling this chapter “The Capture.” It’s the moment we meet our female protagonist, and she’s thrown into a world where she has very little power or control over what’s happening around her. There’s vulnerability in that. There’s anger in that. There’s that moment of realizing, “Oh… this is bigger than me, and I don’t know how to get out of it yet.”

Musically, this is one of the most rocking songs on the album. We get a little heavy, a little raw, and very honest. It’s in-your-face rock and roll, but there’s a lot of heart underneath it.

We were originally planning to debut this bad boy live at Newnan Porchfest, but since the weather had other plans, now everybody gets to hear it from the comfort of their own homes.

So go turn it up.
